(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Thursday, May 30.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:46 a.m.

The epicenter was 144 kilometers southeast of Cagwait.

The depth of focus was 32 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
